Attorney Biographies:

Glenn Gaffney is a 1978 graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In 1981, he graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law, with honors. He has been practicing law in DuPage County, Illinois since 1981. He was the committee chairperson of the DuPage County Bar Association Labor and Employment Section for three straight years from 1990 through 1994. He has also been a member of the Illinois State Bar Association Labor and Employment Section Council since 1999 and in the term 2003-2004 was the chairperson. He was a member of the ISBA Federal Civil Practice Section Council and was the chairperson of that group in the years 2012-2013.

Currently, he is a member of the ISBA Labor and Employment Section Council, as well as the ISBA Human Rights Section Council. Mr. Gaffney has also been active in the DuPage County Bar Association having served as an officer and Director for a number of years and was President of the DuPage County Bar Association for the term 2006-2007. Currently, he is the Vice Chairman of the DuPage County Bar Association Professional Responsibility Section Council.

He then obtained his law degree from the New England School of Law in Boston Massachusetts in . He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association Labor and Employment Section and the DuPage County Bar Association.

Justin Gaffney provides a variety of legal services, in addition to employment law counseling and litigation. These services include business incorporations, business advise, real estate litigation, foreclosure defense, short sales, estate planning, wills and trusts, business litigation, real estate purchases, sales, and work outs. Justin Gaffney is also a licensed real estate broker, in addition to being a professional real estate lawyer and litigator.


Jolianne S. Walters.

Jolianne S. Walters. Ms. Walters graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago, (UIC), in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology. While at UIC, she participated in UIC’s 13 consecutive year nationally qualifying Mock Trial team. After undergrad, Ms. Walters went on to obtain her law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2013.
Since graduating law school and obtaining her law license, Ms. Walters has represented clients in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. For example, prior to joining Gaffney & Gaffney, P.C., Ms. Walters practiced at various corporate firms, where she performing risk management audits, human resources development, and litigation services. Ms. Walters has also gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in her work at prior law firms wherein she assisted in workers’ compensation litigation, personal injury lawsuits, and foreclosures. Thus far, Ms. Walters has had experience in handling cases arising under the Illinois Human Rights Act, the Illinois Wage Payment and Collections Act, the Illinois Mechanic’s Lien Act, the Forcible Entry and Detainer Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family Medical Leave Act, just to name a few. Ms. Walters is also an experienced litigator handling solo jury trials, federal trial work, and state appellate work.

In addition to her plethora of work experience, Ms. Walters was also a member of the Cook County Bar Association, performing and participating in the Cook County Bar Association Symphony Orchestra, playing the violin. Currently, she is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association. She is also a licensed Notary Public.
